We work with trusted organizations across San Antonio that offer services for individuals with disabilities and their families.

These partners (we call them MACers) include healthcare providers, therapists, and community programs.

Respite Care of San Antonio – Respite Care of San Antonio’s (RCSA) mission is to protect, love, build trust and nurture the growth of children with special needs and complex medical conditions while strengthening the families caring for them.

SA Life Academy – To provide exceptional learning opportunities to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live full and active lives.

San Antonio Counseling & Behavioral Center – Improving the quality of life for children, adolescents, adults, and families through exceptional and discreet mental health counseling.

San Antonio Fire Department, Fire Prevention and Public Education Divisions – A dedicated to increasing fire safety, prevention, and community awareness through outreach and educational programs.

San Antonio Food Bank – Fighting hunger is the number one priority of the Food Bank, but it also seeks to educate and aid in many other ways. A variety of programs and resources is available to families, individuals, seniors, children, and military members in need.

San Antonio Legal Services Association (SALSA) – A corps of attorney volunteers coordinated by professional staff to provide free civil legal services to those with limited means and those who are vulnerable or at-risk. We recruit, train, and support the volunteer attorneys who represent SALSA’s clients – low income individuals and families – without charge.

The San Antonio Metropolitan Health District – The public health agency serving the City of San Antonio and Bexar County. The responsibility of the local health department is to provide public health programs.

Sponsel Eye Experts – Provides comprehensive clinical and surgical eye care to all patients, from birth through adulthood. Through knowledge, science, and a nurturing environment, they strive to offer each patient and family exemplary service and the positive experience they deserve. Although Dr. Sponsel and Dr. Mancha specialize in eye care, they also focus on the total health and well-being of their patients through communication with physicians of all specialties to promote excellent care for all.

St. Mary’s University Law School: Center for Legal and Social Justice – Clinical and pro bono programs; assisting disadvantaged individuals with legal issues. Students may perform important legal work and gain a better understanding of the legal processes while helping those in need through opportunities.

Stonebridge Behavioral Health, P.A. – Our mission is to provide comprehensive mental health services tailored to the needs of child protective and foster care agencies and the families they serve

TeamAbility – Provides physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy, Cortical Visual Impairment Program (range assessment, comprehensive program, family education), parent support and education, assistive technology assessments, independent student assessments for school districts and parents.

Burleson School of Innovation and Education, Texas A&M San Antonio Institute for School and Community Partnerships –  The Burleson School for Innovation and Education program is designed to meet the unique needs of young adults with disabilities who have graduated from high school and continue to require instruction in employment, education, training, and independent living.
