Workforce Inclusion Network

Economic stability is an essential part of Morgan’s MAC Care Model and a key pillar in the Non-Medical Drivers of Health (NMDoH). This includes tackling issues like poverty, unemployment, lack of food, and unstable housing.

The Workforce Inclusion Network (WIN) is a partnership of organizations, including the Texas Workforce Commission and local community groups, who provide education, guidance, and support to help individuals with disabilities find and keep meaningful jobs. The WIN also helps employers learn about hiring and supporting employees with disabilities.

Thanks to support from UnitedHealthcare, Morgan’s MAC is able to offer WIN services. The program’s goal is to create long-lasting job opportunities for people with disabilities and special needs. This investment is part of UnitedHealthcare’s long-term commitment to eliminating health disparities and helping people live healthier lives. WIN helps by providing job training, support with finding work, and one-on-one coaching to promote independence and financial security.

Business Advisory Committee

The Workforce Inclusion Network (WIN) at Morgan’s MAC and the Texas Workforce Commission’s Vocational Rehabilitation Services have partnered to establish a Business Advisory Committee (BAC). This group includes representatives from various industries who work together to identify and address workplace barriers for people with disabilities, demonstrating how communities can promote inclusive hiring across different job sectors.

Each organization in the committee shares helpful tools, training, and successful strategies. Together, they create more job opportunities and inspire other businesses to support inclusion, helping to improve the lives of people with disabilities throughout Texas.

Employ 210

Employment for the 21st Century

Aligning the needs of employers and the goals of neuro-divergent employees. Morgan’s MAC’s Workforce Inclusion Network (WIN) team is collaborating with UTSA to launch the Employ 210 program. This initiative addresses the employment gap of individuals with disabilities by aligning employee skills with employer needs before job placement.

Employ 210 allows individuals to choose from a fixed array of available jobs. Our team will partner with local San Antonio businesses and national companies to establish a diverse set of employment opportunities to fit everyone’s interests and skills. Check out their website here.
